Kingston International English College aims to provide a homely atmosphere in a safe and secure environment for our international students.
Homestays are valuable in providing students with insights into the Kiwi way of life and frequent practice in conversational English.
Homestay Placement Fee : 350 NZD.
Homestay Fee (estimation only, refund will be made if overcharged): 400 NZD per week.
A 24- hour airport pick-up service is available to all new international students. If a student is arriving in New Zealand for the first time,Kingston understands that arriving in a new country can be both exciting and a bit scary! That is why we offer an airport pick-up service for new visiting students. To request airport pick up please email info@kingston.ac.nz.

International students (including group students) must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while in New Zealand. Your insurance cover must commence before you get on a plane to New Zealand and be valid at least until the date your visa expires. If you do not have insurance, KIEC will arrange an Orbit or a Southern Cross Travel Insurance policy for you.
Insurance is compulsory for all intentional students studying at KIEC and will be charged automatically unless you show us proof that alternative insurance which
complies with the Code of Practice has already been arranged.
The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand ci+zens, residents, and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Further information can be viewed on

Auckland City has a comprehensive bus system. The Britomart Transport Centre at the bottom of Queen Street close to the school campus is
worth a visit.We will provide student ID with an AT tertiary ID sticker. Then assist you to the customer service centre and create AT HOP card which enables discounted travel on selected buses,trains and ferries.
